About Mike

Michael McDaniel is an experienced trial attorney and a legal counselor. He is also a devoted husband and father. He has authored legal articles for both the Valparaiso Law Review and the Oklahoma Bar Journal, and over the course of his career, his legal briefing skills have assisted both state and federal judges in authoring opinions in several nationally reported cases.

As a lawyer, Mike understands that the law is always changing. While he has encountered a wide range of cases during his time practicing, Mike approaches every case with a fresh perspective. When meeting with clients, he does so with the knowledge that every legal challenge is different and can’t be simplified to one set solution. Each of Mike’s clients can expect him to examine the unique facts that are important to evaluate their particular rights and duties and explain how those facts match up with the most recent cases, statutes, and regulations. From there, Mike can recommend alternative courses of action and discuss likely outcomes before proceeding.

Experience

Mike has diverse experiences in the legal field and has addressed both big and small legal challenges for his clients. He devotes a significant portion of his practice to litigating multi-million-dollar claims alleging personal injury, wrongful death, healthcare negligence, wrongful termination, breach of contract, and environmental pollution.

In addition to personal injury, Mike has assisted small business owners in safeguarding their intellectual property rights or navigating complex contractual and employment law demands. He is also able to design a beneficial estate plan or probate a loved one’s will.

Education

A native Tulsan, he grew up around the fairgrounds. After finishing Nathan Hale High School at the top of his class, he obtained both his bachelor’s degree and his law degree from The University of Tulsa, where he graduated with honor.

Dual Licensure

Michael is licensed and admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Oklahoma and Kansas and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
